The Little Rock School District is requesting SEALED bids from qualified licensed contractors to provide for LIGHTING RENOVATIONS at FOREST PARK, FAIR PARK, HALL, FOREST HEIGHTS.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and walk-thru for this project will be held on May 11, 2023 starting at Forest Park Elem, 1600 North Tyler Street, Little Rock AR 72207, followed immediately by Fair Park ECC, 10616 North Harrison Street, Little Rock AR 72205, then Hall High 6700 H Street, Little Rock, AR 72205, and ending at Forest Heights K8 5901 Evergreen Drive, Little Rock AR 72205. The meetings will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. All potential bidders must attend these meetings to be eligible to submit a bid. Bid opening will be held May 18, 2023 @ 1:30 PM. Contractors may watch via Zoom.

Obtaining contract documents through any source other than the Design Professional listed above or their representative(s) is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information. Contract documents obtained through the Design Professional or their representative(s) are considered the official version and take precedence should any discrepancies occur.

Bid forms are available online at https://lrsd.ionwave.net. Interested bidders must register at this site to download bid forms and submit a bid electronically. This is the preferred method of submission. Bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities in bids received. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Award will be based upon those considerations, which are in the best interest of the District and will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is judged to be the most effective and economical for the purpose intended, according to the requirements and specifications stated in the Invitation for Bids.
